I first discuss the goals of Scrum, before explaining the Scrum framework itself. I think the main object to understand is that you’re trying to manage uncertainty, instead of managing something that is completely known.
Managing uncertainty means that you can’t predict everything upfront, which means that you need to add flexibility in one place (features) to create stability in another (cost, time).
